Bill's Navy photo. Bill died in an airplane accident on Guam Island one week after the Japanese surrender. All three sons of Mabel and Darl served and survived the official hostilities. He is memorialized on the wall in the Punch Bowl in Honolulu as well as on the back side of the tombstone for Mabel and Darl in McConnelsville cem.
