Occupation: Kept boarding house Census 1880; [5-19-97] Ada kept a boarding house on Seventh Street in Zanesville in 1880. She was age 51, born in OH. Father was born in MD; Mother in VA. Maiden name in unknown. She was assisted by her two daughters, Rosa Todd, 21, and Lillie Maud Todd, 17. Boarders included Charles Dugan, 24, painter. In August, Charles and Rosa were married. Other boarders included Joseph Miller, 22, Blacksmith, Charles Beuchler, 20, painter, Benjamin Miller and two others. Ada's family is unknown. Possibly, she was connected to the Darlingtons. Other Todds in Zanesville at the time were James, Julie, Jas., Margaret, Mary, and William.
