History of Morgan Co Ohio 1980. Submitted by Lena L. Ritchey. Hiram and Ida moved to the old Devol place on Meigs Creek, Bloom Twp., Morgan Co after being married. Their two children were born there in the old log cabin which was later used for a sheep barn. Hiram built a house on the hill top above the creek, floods, etc. between 1911 and 1913.
