Per remembrances of Frank Dugan and Wayne Dugan. Photographs in possession of Frank Dugan. Information on death and family supplied by Joseph Offord, Hardin Valley Rd, Knoxville, TN, Grayson's stepson. Joseph remembers that Grayson would travel from Indiana to Columbus, OH for the Ohio St - Michigan football game and took Joseph with him once. Grayson is remembered as a large, barrel-chested man. He used to accompany his father, Johnny, to the farm in McConnelsville to hunt rabbits. 1920 Census: listed as a soldier (actually was counted twice). The Grayson name is interesting. The 1880 Census shows Offords !LIVING in Grayson Co., TX. We have yet to connect to that line. Could he have been named after the place where relatives lived?
