Ellen (referred to as Ella) apparently remarried to a Mr. Still sometime prior to 1905. She is listed as Mrs. Clark in her father's obituary in 1895 and Mrs. Robert Still in 1905 in her mother's obituary. As Mrs. Still, she lived at 84 N. Williams St., Newark, OH. She apparently went by Josephine because that is how she is recorded in the 1910 census, when she lived at 88 N. Williams, Newark, OH. She was buried in the R. H. Dugan plot in Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville, OH. The name on the marker is Ella J. Still, died 1919. The inscription on the marker reads "mother and grandmother" suggesting the marker was erected by her children who also had descendants. The birth date on her marker and her age in the 1910 census coincide with the mysterious L??? daughter of Richard listed in the 1860 Census. We assume now the Census taker misunderstood the name. There does not seem to be an obituary card in the Newark historical society. We do not know how or when Mr. Clark died. Burial arrangements were handled by a Mrs. Roberts. Her mother's arrangments were handled by Anna Roberts. This is likely a cousin - a descendant of her mother's sister Margaret.

Possibly lived in Brownsville, PA or Bucks Co. PA. "John" is just a guess based on the naming conventions on the Dugan side of the family. Another possibility is "Lewis" or "Henry", based on the frequency with which it occurred. "Lewis" (for Lewis Henry Dugan) probably came from Barbara Caroline Sweitzer's father. But Henry is a strong possibility because it was the middle name of many of the Dugan men in Zanesville in the mid 1800's. Peter Dugan (the elder) named his first son Richard, probably after Ann Maria Williams father (we're speculating) and the next son was John. Of course, Peter's brother was a John. It is also possible that this person is Samuel Dugan with wife Elizabeth Watson, from PA. An Elizabeth Dugan, age 102, was buried in St. Thomas Cemetery in 1848.
